Woodbend out of Edmonton, Alberta has enjoyed several years of making music.  The band members include Les Eberhardt – guitar & vocals, Marshall Lawrence – mandolin, Terry Lawson – fiddle & vocals, Ron Mercer – banjo, dobro & vocals, and Toby Tellier – bass & vocals.  Sweet sounds, good pickin' and happy music, is the bottom line on their first CD project released in May 2008.  "All For You" is the title tune, penned by Terry who also does the lead singing.  The songs on the CD are a great showcase for the band and demonstrate their talents very nicely.  The years of working together and 'hangin' in there' are paying off big time, as is the evidence by the song  "All For You”.

Woodbend would like to announce that two members of their band, Toby Tellier and Marshall Lawrence have decided to leave the band to persue other musical interests.  Toby and Marshall have been key members of the band and they will be sorely missed by all of us.

We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Replacements will be announced at a later date. We ask you for your continued support for the band and Toby and Marshall in their new journey

Woodbend is extremely pleased to welcome to the band Jessi Jo Charles.  Jessi brings to the band a wonderful mandolin style and beautiful vocals.  We are working hard on old and new material and look forward to playing for all of you in the near future.

Due to the health situation of one of the band members, Woodbend will not be performing again until October 2009.  Once we are all healthy again we will be ready to play some great bluegrass tunes for all of you.
